Formed in 1971, this country/southern rock/Christian group has won several Grammys and recorded over 28 albums. Known for songs such as “Devil Went Down to Georgia,” Drinkin My Baby Goodbye,” and “Boogie Woogie Fiddle Country Blues,” the band has received several awards including the NARAS Grammy Award, GMA (Gospel Music Association) Dove Award, CCMA (Christian Country Music Association) Award, CMA (Country Music Association) Award and numerous other honors and nominations. In addition, fiddle player, composer and singer Charlie Daniels was just named as one of the inductees for the 2009 Musicians Hall of Fame.
