Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts 5:30-7:00 PM
Influenced by the Beatles and the obvious Cheap Trick, Miles Nielsen has grown up in Rockford and on the road surrounded by music. His original songs and music showcase his own unique talents that give Midwest audiences a freestyle, folk pop sound, described by the artist as “Beatlesque Cosmic Americana.”

Finding Clyde has found a unique way to mix invigorating story lines with listenable music, thus crossing all genre boundaries albeit remaining true to itself. Inspired by artists ranging from NEEDTOBREATHE, Pete Yorn, George Harrison, Billy Corgan, STP, Queen, Billy Preston and The Foo Fighters, the music cuts across like an accessible old friend, leaving the listener yearning for another spin.

Taddy Porter is Andy Brewer, Doug Jones, Kevin Jones and Joe Selby. Four young men, southern by birth, that have a habit of rocking outright. Urban Tulsa Weekly describes the boy’s music as ” good old-fashioned, amps-on-11, tap-yer-foot-and-buy-another-beer rock’ n ‘roll.” Drawing influences from the likes of The Black Keys and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club the boys sound has come full circle in raw emotion and power.
Saving Abel 10:15-11:30 PM
Formed in 2004 by vocalist Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null, Saving Abel combines riff-heavy hard rock with sexually charged lyrics and Southern rock influences. Their single “Addicted” hit number two on the mainstream rock charts and the band have a new album out entitled Miss America.

“Best of Rockford” winners at the On the Waterfront Festival from 1991-1995 and 1997-2000, Missing Links has opened for bands such as Ides of March, The Romantics and Little Richard. The RAMI award-winning band has also shared the stage with Steppenwolf, Blood Sweat and Tears and others. With over 40 years of experience under their belts, Missing Links gives a rock performance that should not be missed.

One of the founding members of Santana and Journey Gregg Rolie has made his mark on Rock & Roll. An inductee to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Rolie is a keyboardist, organist, and singer. Rolie was the lead vocalist on Santana’s “Black Magic Woman” and “Evil Ways” and is best known for these feats.

Giving audiences an intense post-grunge sound, Framing Hanley’s original songs are influenced by 30 Seconds to Mars and 3 Doors Down. After being mentored by former Creed bassist Brett Hestla, Framing Henley went on to record their debut album, “The Moment.” Their most recent endeavor has been recording a cover of Lil’ Wayne’s “Lollipop,” giving the song their own post-hardcore edge.
