Little Big Band                               5:30-7:00 PM

A Rockford favorite for over ten years, the Little Big Band embodies the sounds of the 1930’s and 1940’s. Contrary to tradition however, the Little Big Band also plays latin, funk, rock, blues, and jazz.  Varying anywhere from 6-8 performers at each show, they are known to induce nostalgia.

Candye Kane                                  7:45-9:15 PM

As quoted by BB King, Candye Kane has that big, brassy voice that has authority and sass; the kind of thing men like because it’s seductive and women like because it’s powerful. That alone makes Candye Kane a must see at this years festival.  This Blues-inspired music inspires Candye Kane to honor the bold blues women of the past with both feet firmly planted in the present. She belts – growls – shouts – croons and moans from a lifetime of suffering and overcoming obstacles.

Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials   10:00-11:30 PM

Lil’ Ed Williams, although small in stature, is a true giant of the blues, and among the very last authentic West Side Chicago bluesmen.  A gifted guitarist and a remarkably gritty and soulful vocalist, Williams, along with his blistering, road-tested band, The Blues Imperials, has been tearing up clubs and festival stages all over the world for almost 25 years.
