Kinobe                                      12:00-12:45 PM

Kinobe shares the traditional sounds of Uganda and the African continent, performing exclusively on a wide variety of beautiful acoustic instruments. Kinobe is the new voice of Ugandan music, the inspired synthesis of African roots and world music, of traditional and modern instrumentation. He represents the new vanguard of Ugandan performers, a gifted instrumentalist steeped in the music of his homeland, but with ears opened to the sounds of the world at large.

Evolve Dance Company   1:00-1:45 PM

Evolve Dance Company started as a dream of Artistic Director, Jennifer Vause and became a reality in June of 2005. Jennifer Vause, has sixteen years of teaching and choreography experience.  Our excellent, knowledgeable teachers provide dancers with all they need to “evolve” into the best dancer possible.

Little Miss Ann Band          2:00-2:30 PM

Ann Torralba’s socially conscious tunes are audience participative and give off a 1970’s L.A. music vibe. The former Chicago public school teacher’s “Clap for Love” and “Music for Tots” albums are considered by some to be one of the top 10 in children’s music of 2008 due to the artist’s melodic voice and guitar.

Little Nashville                     3:00-3:45 PM

Little Nashville is a high-energy children’s musical performance group that features the stylings of today’s country music coupled with contagious lyrics that children of all ages are sure to enjoy. From stories to tell to great sing-alongs and dances, Little Nashville is the perfect get-a-way for kids and families alike. If you love good rockin’ country music for both young and old that teaches wholesome values, then this is one event you can’t miss!

Poochamungas                      1:00-1:45 PM

After 9 years of playing and a mastery of three cords John Joyce of Poochamungas started writing songs to amuse his then two year old daughter.  Upon showing them to fellow musicians John Joyce was encouraged to develop his songs further and write more. After a successful Halloween gig the band went into the studio and finished an exceptional children’s album.  It is presently available out of the trunk of John’s car.

Laura Doherty                       2:00-2:45 PM

Laura is a Chicago-based children’s musician with an ear for a catchy melody. Armed with her acoustic guitar, she has written and recorded three albums for the folk-pop listener (solo and with Sweet Hello), and in May 2009 released her first CD of original children’s songs, called “Kids in the City.” Doherty is known to acoustically rock your kids, so bring the whole family out to this show!

Dave Rudolf                           3:00-3:45 PM

Known for his “Silly songs for silly kids and their silly parents” Rudolf is entertaining for those of all ages. His shows feature all kinds of jokes, sound effects, and the chance to see your kids on stage with Dave!
